We are a large residential apartment complex in Newburgh, NY and are currently looking to fill multiple positions: Maintenance Technician, Cleaning Person and Administrative Assistant. Maintenance Technician: Must have a valid driver's license. Preferred skills/experience include: plumbing, boilers, electrical, taping/sheetrock, painting, flooring, grounds upkeep and general apartment maintenance. Willingness to be on-call after hours is a plus. Uniforms will be supplied after one month of employment. Must have own hand tools. Full time position – Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm -- and possibility of being on-call for snow removal and other emergencies as they may occur. Salary: $17.00/hour. Cleaning Person: Must be able to work independently. Must be detail oriented and very thorough. Ability to work quickly and well under pressure is necessary due to the size of the property. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Common Hallways, Windows/Glass doors, Rental Office, Stairwells, Common bathrooms, Community Room, Community room kitchen, Elevators, Garbage, and 12 Laundry Rooms. It will also include cleaning the vacant units to prepare them for new move-ins -- appliances, cabinets, bathrooms, windows, stripping and waxing the floors, etc. Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds. All cleaning products and equipment are supplied by the company. Uniforms will be supplied after one month of employment. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Full time position – Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm -- and possibility of being on-call for snow removal and other emergencies as they may occur. Salary: $13.50-$14.50/hour (depending on qualifications and experience). Administrative Assistant (Management/Leasing Office): Our office is very busy and we need someone who is organized and extremely detail oriented. Must be computer literate. Familiarity with Section 8 and Tax Credit Housing is a plus. Excellent customer service skills are a must as well as a clear and pleasant phone presence. Must work well under pressure. The Admin is the hub of our office and a critical part of day to day business. We are looking for someone to be the "backbone" for our team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: answering the phones and taking accurate messages, fielding tenant complaints, concerns and requests, maintaining record keeping and filing systems, creating and managing maintenance work orders, scheduling and coordinating extermination treatments, faxing and mailings, updating applications for our wait-list (data entry), as well as administrative support for the other office staff. This is a full time position. Hours are from 8:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday. Salary: $15.00/hour.
