SW Houston Engineering/Manufacturing company is hiring immediately for a Material Handler/Machine Operator. Please read job description thoroughly to ensure you meet requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES Include, but not limited to: Material Handling: • Measure, label and place material in stock locations • Weigh and place materials in oven; after process is completed, materials are to placed in appropriate stock location. • Process all necessary paperwork • Pull and issue materials to work orders for shop production • Coordinate with supervisor on cycle counts for all raw material. • WORK SAFELY AND BE PRODUCTIVE Machine Operator: • MUST HAVE PREVIOUS MACHINE OPERATOR EXPERIENCE! • Machines used include: Kearney & Trecker 3pc. Mill, Norton Hyprolapper, Double Disc Grinder & Table Saw Operators will be required to deburr material, set up and mill or grind material as specified, maintain oil & coolant levels of machines, as well as perform overall inspection of machines prior to and after use. Tear down and set back up machines during required procedures. Cut parts and deburr using bench grinder. SKILLS NEEDED: • Good communication skills • Attention to detail • Ability to work with hand tools • Good follow up and organizational skills MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1 Year
