We are looking for full-time and part-time team members. Work experience in the pet industry is a plus! (Such as pet daycare or boarding facility, hospitality or service industry, or veterinary office.) Dog Daycare Handlers: Supervise and monitor play groups and safely handle many dogs at once in a play setting. Must be very comfortable with small, medium, and large dogs and interact with them in a safe and compassionate manner. A successful Daycare Handler is a pro-active team player, an independent self-starter who is eager to learn new things, who genuinely loves pets, and is not afraid to get a little dirty! Team members must be friendly and professional with customers, including when presenting dogs to owners. Kennel Techs: General cleaning and maintenance of the kennel suites and daycare areas. Team members maintain a safe, positive, and very clean environment. Tasks include laundry, feeding and watering dogs, dish washing, and bathing dogs. You will observe, pick up, and properly dispose of poop. You will contribute to general cleaning of the facility, including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and trash removal. Cleaning is a big part of this job. Job requirements include: - Enjoy working with dogs of ALL sizes, and possess a general understanding of dog body language and behavior. You must be able to move fast and be extremely energetic and confident. - Knowledge of different dog breeds and breed temperaments and possess basic dog handling skills - Able to work well as a team, and individually, and possess a positive, willing attitude, be professional with a good work-ethic. be punctual and dependable with reliable transportation - Able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in all types of weather, and be able to stand for long periods of time. This position requires you to be on your feet most of the day—stooping, bending, standing, walking, and playing are required. - Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent We are looking for associates to work approximately 24-40 hours per week. MUST be able to work weekends and holidays. This is non-negotiable. Pay is based on experience and performance.
