A successful, natural dietary supplements business in Northampton, MA We have a Picking/Packing/Shipping/Receiving position available. Position Type: Permanent, Full time Working hours: M-F, between 8:30 - 4:30 Competitive Wages and Benefits Responsibilities are as follows: Order fulfillment - Picker/Packer/Shipper - Determine appropriate shipping container (size and type) for lowest cost - Use shipping software to create appropriate shipping label - Accurately pick, pack and ship appropriate products Receiving/Stocking - Receive items by unloading inbound inventory; unpacking containers. - Check and verify inbound inventory by inspecting condition of items, comparing count of items to Purchase Order and Packing List and noting discrepancies. Help with other warehouse tasks -Cleaning and Organizing -Building and yard maintenance Skills: Minimum Qualifications: - Must be at least 18 years old - Ability to learn shipping software - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (occasional, most packages weigh less than 20 lbs) - Must be able to stand or walk continuously during shift - Willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, lift and reach safely - Willingness to take direction - Must be detail oriented, have a sense of urgency, and the ability to prioritize and multitask - Good reasoning ability, sound judgment, resourceful and well organized - Ability to take care in the presentation of customers’ orders - Dedicated to customer satisfaction with a positive, 'can-do' attitude - Dependable, with the ability to positively contribute to a team environment Ideal Candidate (preferred, but not required): • Forklift experience / license • Share our values of health and wellness • Share our values of preserving the planet, and compassion for animals and all people
