Cane Creek Farm is a Hunter/Jumper boarding, training and showing facility that houses over 20 horses and operates an extensive lesson program for children and adults of all experience levels. We are seeking to add two individuals to our team. Job responsibilities for the first job Tend to the horse’s basic needs Maintain and operate farm equipment Maintain the exterior aesthetic of the barn Assist with special projects as assigned Qualifications 18+ years old Thorough understanding of operating and maintaining farm equipment “Handyman” skills Experience operating power tools Be able to lift 60+ lbs Ability to work under pressure or in emergencies Reliable transportation in all types of weather Pass a drug screening and background check Have a cellular device to make and receive calls/texts Must be self motivated, efficient, thorough and observant Be able to work weekends and some holidays Job responsibilities for the second job Care for and tend to the horse’s basic and extensive needs Be responsible for basic Equine first aid Maintain the interior aesthetic of the barn Assist with special projects as assigned Qualifications 18+ years old 2+ years experience handling horses Willingness to learn Ability to work in a team setting Be able to lift 60+ lbs Ability to work under pressure or in emergencies Reliable transportation in all types of weather Must be self motivated, efficient, thorough and observant Pass a drug screening and background check Have a cellular device to make and receive calls/texts Be able to work weekends and some holidays Cane Creek Farm prides itself on our family-oriented environment in a professional setting.
