Seeking Senior and Apprentice Carpenters BSA Construction is recognized throughout Metro Boston as a leading firm specializing high end, residential construction. Senior Carpenter Position This is a great opportunity for an experienced tradesman to work on some extraordinary projects in the Metro Boston and beyond with a great company. Senior Carpenters will work with project managers to accomplish frame to finish on various types of projects including development projects, full interior and exterior remodeling, additions, as well as kitchen and bath remodeling. Must be knowledgeable in current methods and materials in the residential construction field. Applicant will present a professional attitude and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Must be able to troubleshoot jobsite issues as they arise, and work alongside our team and subcontractors to achieve the best results possible. Responsibilities will include: production of products in accordance with construction documents and company standards, maintaining efficiency throughout projects, maintaining proper safety methods, maintaining quality for all tasks and applications throughout jobs, maintaining a clean and professional jobsite, working alongside other carpenters and subcontractors, ordering and picking up lumber and materials as necessary. Solid Experience in the Following Desired: Analysis and Interpretation of Construction Documents Framing Finish Interior Carpentry Weatherproofing / Flashing Door and Window Installation Siding Exterior Trim/Carpentry Insulation Masonry (a Plus) Roofing (Rubber roofing a Plus) Tiling (a Plus) General Knowledge in regards to Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC (a Plus) Must Have: -3+ Years of Experience -Own Reliable Transportation (Truck or Van with Ability to Carry Lumber a Plus) -Valid Driver's License -Hand Tools -Power Tools Compensation/Benefits: $20-25/hr. commensurate on experience 5 Days PTO (Paid Time Off) After 6 months of Full Time Employment Paid Holidays
