An evening of hope for those battling eating disorders, their family and friends who love and support them, and professionals. Conversations of Hope is a hope-filled evening for those battling eating disorders, their family and friends who love and support them, and Oklahoma eating disorder treatment professionals. Conversations of Hope will be an encouragement to those who struggle and their families and also serves as a fundraiser for the Oklahoma Eating Disorder’s mission to bring awareness, resources and support to those who struggle with Eating Disorders, their families, and to treatment professionals across the state. Join us for an evening on Plenty Mercantile's roof top, where we will network and connect as a community, celebrate recovery warriors on our Tree of Hope, enjoy heavy appetizers, and hear stories of hope from our speakers. 6:00 pm- Appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages, cash bar and mingling. 6:45 pm- Program Begins KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Doug Goetzinger- Spouse and advocate of an Eating Disorder survivor, Doug will share his families story and ways he has learned to be a helpful support. RECOVERY SPEAKER: Alexa Hamilton- Alexa will share her story of recovery and hope. TABLE SPONSORSHIP: $500 Includes: 2-3 tickets for individuals from the organization, Logo on signage at event & on table, Mention from the podium, Social media shout out, 2 scholarship tickets for community members. VISION To lead and advocate for education & treatment of eating disorders in Oklahoma in order to promote healthy body images and positive relationships with food.
