Join us in the magical space of Femme Fatale DC to celebrate the launch of our third print, Fire! This print embraces fire and what it can teach us. It’s all about how we can burn down what exists, make space for inevitable change, and imagine and build something entirely new. Our launch party aims to celebrate community, fun, and creativity. You’ll have the opportunity to be surrounded by beautiful people, tune into performances by musicians and poets, drink themed cocktails, and participate in drawing activities. You’ll also be one of the first people to flip through the breathtaking pages of LUMXN Print 3 and have a chance to talk to the editors, artists, and contributors. LUMXN is all about creating space for womxn and non-binary people of color to spread the l i g h t that shines when they are unapologetically themselves. We create space for those “figuring it all out,” whether they’re on step 1 of the journey or step x, and we invite poets, scholars, writers, and everyday people across generations to share stories from their journeys to understanding and embracing their light.
