The flagship event for the Tuman Breast Cancer Foundation is set!!! Come join us for the day as we help raise funds to financially and emotionally assist women within our local communities throughout their breast cancer journey. This year we will be focusing on helping women in Prosper ISD and can't wait to lock arms as a community ! In 2018, at the age of 38 with 3 kids under the age of 10, our founder was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. The support she received from the local community of Prosper, Texas was unequivocally life giving to her and her family. From meals, to playdates, to prayer and more, it was never a battle I faced alone. One such token of support was an event that a couple of her friends organized. It was a paid Yoga event held at Silo Park. Food trucks donated their earnings, vendors gave their proceeds, a live Yoga session was offered and the list goes on. In 2019, it was her turn to give back. She decided to take what she had been blessed with and pay it forward to another woman. Using the same venue and concept, she hosted Yoga and Mimosas for Breast Cancer (#yomosasforbc)! Through the event, she was able to bless another Prosper ISD mom battling breast cancer. #yomosasforbc turned out to be a monumental event, and this year the Tuman Breast Cancer Foundation 501(c)(3) was established. In collaboration with community partners, the Tuman Breast Cancer Foundation will host the third annual YomosasforBC event (#yomosasforbc) at Silo Park in Prosper, Texas on October 24th, 2021. At the event, we will disperse the donated gifts to women in our community based on the specific areas of needs and requests submitted to the foundation prior to the event. Examples include financial assistance, laundry service, house cleaning, yard maintenance, child care and more. $50 per ticket FREE admission for Prosper ISD students
