Southwest School of Art welcomes active duty military families a chance to experience art making and creativity together for the morning. Blue Star Museums Military Art Day at Southwest School of Art is a free, introductory experience designed for children ages 5-13. To secure your registration please also fill out information at this linkChildren and parents have the opportunity to learn from artist-teachers in a wide variety of media, including origami, drawing and painting, printmaking, seasonal activities, and more! Parents and guardians work alongside their children during the activities held on the beautiful historic campus of Southwest School of Art. Activities will take place in the Frost Gardens and participants are encouraged to mask up. One registration per family, please. Blue Star Museums Military Art Day at Southwest School of Art is funded through the Texas Commission on the Arts.
