The Somerset Junior Woman's Club's "SomerHarvest: A Farm to Table Celebration" returns to downtown Somerset on September 9th. Come join us for a fabulous evening in downtown Somerset! The Somerset Junior Woman's Club and Don Franklin Somerset Family of Dealerships are excited to bring you the 4th "SomerHarvest: A Farm to Table Celebration" on Thursday, September 9th. Tickets are $30.00 per person, plus taxes and handling fees. As you know, we were unable to have this event in 2020 due to COVID-19 and that has resulted in a few changes in logisitics for 2021. While we will STILL be outdoors to enjoy the dinner and entertainment in a communal setting, we will not have one long table on the street this year. We will have separate tables of 6 to 8 seats set up at least 6 feet apart and will be located on the Pulaski County Judicial Center Plaza. This will help with some social distancing and allow everyone to feel safer. And, it also gives us an actual stage for our entertainers. Entertainment will feature the beautiful music of Pleasant Company and we will have a group of local chefs preparing sourced dinner that is sourced from local farms and producers. We expect to also some artists with us to exhibit and sell their work. At this time, we are limiting ticket sales to only 100 seats through Eventbrite. (In the event of inclement weather, we will do our best to move the event to an indoors venue and will advertise that change as soon as possible.) As always, we are using this event as a fundraiser for a scholarshop to be donated to the Somerset Community College Foundation and for other upcoming community projects. The Somerset Junior Woman's Club is a non-profit, non-partisan civic organization that produces various community events, raises funds for local charities and organizations and provides activites and resources for area women, children and families.
