Abba and sons is currently hiring movers, drivers, and helpers too! If you are motivated to advance, can communicate professionally with customers and work well with a diverse team, come in with your Drivers License/ID between 9am and 3pm to apply. We are located Southeast of Oracle and Fort Lowell @ 237 W Fort Lowell Rd Tucson AZ 85705. Applications will be accepted and reviewed until all positions are filed. Essential Duties Frequently communicate with customers on plan and progress. Utilize hand tools (e.g. screw driver, pliers, wrenches, socket wrenches) and power tools (e.g. drill). Operate dollies/handcarts, lift gate and other moving equipment. Deliver and assemble furniture securely and properly. Wear clean company provided shirt and your own pants/shorts respectfully representing the business and your team. DAYS AND SCHEDULE: Sunday-Friday as early as 7 AM until the time you finish your assigned move To join our team you should have... • Experience with professional moving • Experience unloading shipments • Experience personally moving/hauling • Experience with furniture/appliance deliver and setup • Experience in the equipment rental industry • Experience with customer service • Experience in communicating via email, text and WhatsApp (we utilize this for daily dispatch) • Effective communication and listening • Be able and willing to follow directions • Work well in a team • Keep a sharp physical Appearance & Good Hygiene • Be reliable and responsible, have positive attitude, and professional demeanor. Drivers: Must possess a valid Arizona driver's license (minimum Class D) upon employment and maintain throughout employment · A Department of Motor Vehicle review will be conducted periodically · Candidate must possess an acceptable driving record which is 5 or fewer points in the most recent 39 month period from date of hire · Drivers will also be moving (see requirements below) Movers: 2 years minimum experience moving. for the right applicant, we will train you · Candidates must be experienced moving and lifting heavy furniture (up & down stairs safely) without causing damage to surrounding structure or said furniture itself · Maintain the integrity of belongings in our possession with the use of protective wrapping, securing & tying down items in truck · Be comfortable assembling and disassembling furniture · Experience utilizing hand/power tools, hand-trucks, dollies, and lift gate · ability to maneuver heavy objects using equipment provided by the company Helpers: Packing household goods such as dishes, lamps, artwork · Wrapping items with moving blankets such as couches and tables · Box TV’s · Disassemble and assemble furniture · Perform and document accurate inventory of goods · Carry goods between the residence and the vehicle · Proper loading of trucks · Assist as needed
