Fake news articles often push one morbid-sounding viewpoint, have an angry tone or make outrageous claims. Does the article seem fair, balanced and honest? 4 - Analyze Sources Consider the article's origin and who exactly benefits from it. Fake news articles often shill for unseen profit-driven sources, or no sources at all. Does the article include and identify reliable sources that you would really trust with your life?
