Expert speakers and panelists will discuss causes and effects of gun violence and propose solutions. Professionals in the fields of healthcare including mental health, law enforcement, the judicial system, education and public policy together with local youth and diverse stakeholders will come together to address the devastation of gun violence. The goals of the conference are to inform and focus public attention on this epidemic, share the perspectives of young people, invite feedback, deliver a report and ultimately create a standing commission to work toward saving lives.
