Join the LGBTQ+ Center, our community partners and LGBTQ-related student organizations to network and learn about available resources. The WVU LGBTQ+ Center invites students, faculty, staff and community members to attend our annual Welcome Back Event on Thursday, August 26, from 5 - 7 p.m. This year, we will host our event outdoors, in the closed-off cul-de-sac between Dadisman and Stalnaker Halls, right beside the LGBTQ+ Center. In the event of inclement weather, we will move the festivities inside the LGBTQ+ Center. This event is free and family-friendly, and all are welcome! Join us and several of our community partners and LGBTQ-related student organizations to learn more about resources available to our LGBTQ+ community and how to be more involved. Our Welcome Back Event is an opportunity to reconnect and visit old friends, meet new friends, and share our excitement about the upcoming academic year. Masks are optional if you are fully vaccinated, and required if you are not. Please RSVP and let us know if you will attend. We look forward to seeing you!
