Puget Sound Doors is an Arlington manufacturer of quality doors and drawer boxes for Northwest cabinet shops. Job Description: We’re looking for an experienced or an entry level worker. We need someone we can train to operate our machinery and equipment to produce components used in manufacturing doors and drawer boxes. Also help with assembly and final sanding. Experience is not necessary because we train on our specific equipment, but If you have operated any kind of power tools or machinery (woodworking, metalworking, etc.) large or small, that would be helpful in this job. Experience in any kind of production environment is also a plus. If you enjoy working with your hands and take personal pride in your workmanship and productivity you would be a great candidate for this job. Personal requirements are: reliable transportation, dependable, consistent attendance, able to follow verbal and written instructions, productive with minimal supervision after learning the position. Responsibilities and Duties: Cutting, shaping, assembling and/or sanding component parts that go into manufacturing cabinet doors and dovetail drawer boxes. Operating the equipment and verifying the quality of the parts produced. Qualifications and Skills: Any previous wood working or cabinet experience would significantly speed up the training time and impact your resulting rate of pay. Must have reliable transportation and a history of consistent attendance. Paid vacations, paid holidays. Friday afternoons off. We work 7:30 to 5:00 Mon - Thurs (9 hour days) then work only 4 hours on Fridays(off at 11:30am).
