Tulips are a cheerful way to welcome spring. They are easy to plant and provide a beautiful burst of color after a long winter.
Planting Tulips for Spring Blooms
Participants will plant up a project to take home for use in their own garden. (includes 12 tulip bulbs)
In this class; we will discuss different types of tulips, and the care and planting of the bulbs. Students will also learn several planting techniques to create different style displays in your spring garden. I will also share some of my favorite tulip varieties and my favorite sources so you can select the correct bulb for your garden needs. Questions and a brief discussion of other spring bulbs may be included as time allows.
Class is one hour. Approx 30 lecture/discussion and 30 minutes hands-on activities and planting. Participants will take home a completed project that can be used in their own gardens.
