Civic Art Lab 2021: Regenerative Futures November 5-7, 2021Submissions due by September 1st Acceptance notification by Sept 14th, 2021 Apply to presentCivic Art Lab: Regenerative Futures considers themes related to rebuilding, restoring, and reimagining our communities. We have the opportunity to engage our communities with regenerative practices as we grapple with the lingering effects of the pandemic. Work, school, social life, and community have all been reinterpreted in new ways we have never considered, and in ways that suggest how we might meet global social and environmental goals that previously felt unattainable. Proposals should consider but are not limited to: - Restorative environmental and social sustainability practices- Visualizing COVID-19 impacts and experiences - Regenerative art and design- The intersection of public art, design, health, and public safety- Critical re-interpretations of revitalization practices - Redesigning place: work, school, and social spaces- Hybrid community activism (digital and face-to-face)
