FREE physician-led seminar focusing on cultivating the mind-body connection through education, discussion, & mindful yoga practice Join us for this exciting, informative, and experiential 3-hour FREE workshop led by board-certified psychiatrists, Dr. Shan Gao and Dr. Whitney Thomas. During this event, you will learn how trauma and other painful events affect our mind, body, and the connection between the two. Discussion will be paired with breathing techniques and a trauma-informed yoga practice suitable for all levels. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat. Yoga mats are also available onsite courtesy of the YMCA. FREE light refreshments will be provided.
