The Break Room: Charleston is looking for an extra set of hands to assist with daily cleanup over at our super sweet warehouse in West Ashley. The only requirements are that you: -Have transportation -Will actually show up and put in work while here -Can handle a solid hour of heavy lifting (65-100lbs) (Here's your paid workout for the day) -Are trustworthy, hospitable, and otherwise generally pleasant to be around. -Don't mind submitting to a background check (this is more for identifying any "red-flag" felonies, rather than some public intox ticket you got 5 years ago on spring break) What to expect: -We need someone to come in Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday to clear the previous day's debris (glass, wood, plastic, metal, etc) from our 3 rooms, so that we can reset them for the coming day. Note: We use snow shovels now, they make quick work of glass piles in a few swipes. -You will be expected to provide your own protective footwear (we all wear work boots now), but will be provided with gloves, and a brand new 3M respirator to protect those sweet lungs against any foreign particles floating around. (Actual use is optional, but offered) -You will be primarily self managed; It is likely you will work side by side with other staff members at one point or another, but this opportunity is geared toward those looking to fill an hour of their day with some honest work and very fair pay. Throw on some music and get paid to get a quick pump in. "Brass tacks": Each room gets cleared of large debris and glass, put into our wheelbarrow's / tough carts, and rolled to the dumpster out front to lift, dump, and repeat. It very rarely takes more than an hour total to clear these rooms, and the only true time constraint is that the task be completed by 1:00PM each day. Come in at 9 or noon; that's up to you. The work itself is extremely simple and straightforward; Far more like exercise than being around/touching trash. ***To clarify: No food waste or nasty s*** here. Just destroyed household goods**** Pay will be 1099 direct deposit every week, $25 per day, offer is 5 days per week. Yes...that's $125 every week for 5 hours of your time. Looking to staff 1-2 new hands within the next week, additional earning opportunities may arise. P.S. If you're only going to show up for a few days and dip out, you need not apply.
