Alluvium Construction is a growing company headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. We specialize in sediment basin conversions and stream restoration services. Typical working conditions are wet and mucky, so experience with these conditions is a major plus. Alluvium is seeking an operator with extreme attention to detail that is able to do the following tasks: Read and understand plans Work in wet/mucky conditions and be comfortable working on slopes Able to grade with excavator to within 0.1' of grade Have experience with final grading/cleanup/fine grading Have experience with pond conversion work or stream restoration work - Sand Filter experience is a plus Perform daily fluid level checks on oil, water and fuel; Visual inspection for obvious leaks and damage to machine before operation of equipment as well as safety equipment checks. Responsible for daily maintenance of equipment to remain in proper and safe working order. Responsible for notifying supervisor if equipment needs to be repaired Able to operate construction/earthmoving equipment including but not limited to; tracked excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, off road trucks, etc. Qualifications: Experience operating 20,000-50,000 lb excavator Experience as an Operator on Pond/Stream construction projects is a plus Experience and understanding of engineered blue print drawings & specifications Willingness & ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds Punctuality and willingness to work together as a team to accomplish any and all tasks About The Company: Alluvium is a company with a great culture that promotes from within and allows all employees to be the best that they can be.
