About Us: We are a young business focusing on providing a full adventure overland camping experience to our customers. Our 4x4 vehicles are equipped with rooftop tents, awnings, bigger tires, and lift kits. Our camper vans have beds and kitchenettes in them and offer an easy way for people to experience the vanlife. Our target customer is one who wants to get outdoors and go on an elevated camping without the hassles of a normal camping trip. We currently have 8 vehicles and plan to grow more. See more at www.tacrentals.com About the Role: The technician’s role is to foremost help make sure vehicles and gear are ready for customer trips. Every day is different here and there is plenty of room for creativity and problem solving. This job requires a person that thinks about how the current systems can be improved upon and the initiative to enact those changes The position is perfect for someone who is flexible, handy, and enjoys working with/on vehicles. This is a job well suited for a side job during the school year. You will work closely with others on our team and interact with customers. Plus you get to work with fun cars and gear and get access to company vehicles to go camping for work! Requirements: Flexible schedule, automotive or household repair background, camping experience Responsibilities: - Clean, vacuum, and dust exterior, interior, and windows of vehicle - Pack gear for trips - Clean and repair gear if needed - Small maintenance on vehicles - Gives orientation to customers during vehicle check-out - Check-in vehicles and hear from customer about their trip - Shopkeeping (weekly sweeping and mopping, organization of tools and equipment, laundry and dishes, etc) - Vehicle delivery - Purchasing needed hardware from nearby stores Other Potential Tasks - Photography/videography - Website development - Marketing
