Press release from the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce: August 09, 2021   "Farmingdale Stacks" on Display at Mills Pond Gallery Dr. Eric Chimon is a local dentist in Farmingdale and a watercolor artist.  His recent work, "Farmingdale Stacks" is on display at the Mills Pond Gallery in St. James from August 7 to September 5, 2021 as part of a juried exhibition sponsored by the Smithtown Township Arts Council. The painting displays the Seville Central Mix Corporation concrete facility in Old Bethpage.  Every day on his way to work, Dr. Chimon passes this local landmark.  One morning, he was inspired to capture this scene when the lighting was perfect, accentuating the interesting silos and ironwork of the compound.    Dr. Chimon has won numerous awards for his watercolor paintings many of which focus on cityscapes and landscapes.  Among his achievements was acceptance of his work, "Smoke in the City" into the American Watercolor Society exhibition in 2019. ### This press release was produced by the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce.
