Description

The Edward Foundation's 31st annual gala, The Big Gig: Parisian Soiree, will be held Saturday, Sept. 25 at the Westin Lombard, 70 Yorktown Center in Lombard. The event will begin at 6 p.m. with cocktails and silent auction, followed by dinner, dancing and a live auction. The gala is the Foundation's largest fundraiser of the year and supports Edward Hospital programs and services that directly impact patients. A portion of event funds raised this year will help fund strategic upgrades across numerous Edward Hospital specialties, including neurosciences, radiology, pathology and behavioral health services at Linden Oaks. A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available, tables of ten or individual tickets can be purchased, and individuals and businesses can donate items for the silent and live auctions. In addition, the gala will feature an "Ultimate Raffle" ($100 for one ticket, $200 for three tickets). The winner will choose one of the following: $2,500 in cash, a Peloton Bike+ or vacation packages for two in Sonoma, California or Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. For more information about purchasing tickets, participating in the raffle, becoming a sponsor or donating items for the auctions, visit www.eehealth.org/BigGig. Note – At this time, Edward Foundation is moving forward to host and present the Big Gig as planned. Some of the event's offerings may be augmented to accommodate social distancing or other public safety recommendations or restrictions. Edward Foundation will periodically email sponsors and registrants to update them about any necessary changes to the event's proposed offerings. The Edward Foundation was established in 1990 and has raised more than $54.5 million in its mission to support Edward Hospital's community healthcare initiatives, invest in the most advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, recruit world-class medical professionals and deliver the highest quality care to almost 1.7 million patients within the area it serves. To make a donation to or for more information about the Foundation, call (630) 527-3954 or visit www.edwardfoundation.org.
