I am a GC and I have a deck (18 x 22') that needs to be demoed and then the removed to the dump or a dumpster in the alley. I ESTIMATE THIS DECK WOULD BE 2-3 FULL PICK UP TRUCK LOADS TO THE DUMP. YOU WILL NEED TO CUT SOME OF THE BOARDS DOWN TO 8' THOUGH IF YOU ARE USING AN 8' BED. OTHERWISE I WILL SUPPLY A 20 YARD DUMPSTER AS THE HOMEOWNER HAS SOME OTHER JUNK THEY WANT TO THROW IN IT. (If you have a dump truck please mention that in your bid) The logistics are : The deck is on a 2nd story flat roof with no dumpster or dump truck access to the back yard. So the debris needs to be CAREFULLY LOWERED INTO THE BACK YARD. Then it needs to be carried to the rear driveway which is about a 100 feet away. Mostly flat terrain. If you had a crew of 3-4 guys you could easily do this in a day. If it is a crew with 2 guys it will take a long day or maybe a day and a half depending on how well you work together. If you are interested I will also need a quote to help load the new deck materials in the front window of the townhouse but that will be a separate bid and we will need to go over those logistics in person. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ I need a labor bid on the following phases of the new deck: 18 x 22' floating deck (rests directly on top of flat roof) (396 Square Feet F) 2 x 8 Rectangle frame (as simple as it gets) I need a SF price on the framing 396 Square Feet of Trex Deck Boards Installed with Hidden Fasteners 22' x 6' Privacy fence on one side of the deck 40 Lineal feet of regular Trex Railing system on other sides of the deck I NEED LABOR QUOTES ON THESE THREE LINE ITEMS Demo will start this week most likely deck frame/deck next week or the following week depending on how quickly I can get the materials delivered. I will only reply to those that get back to me with quotes.
