Hello, my name is Robert. I have been playing the guitar for many years, mostly in an original band. I attended the UNLV Jazz Program for jazz performance in 2009 and was blessed to study under the great Joe Lano for two years. I am looking for some musicians to jam with, open the real book, and play. I love Paul Desmond, Stan Getz, Larry Carlton... you get the idea. Life often throws curve balls and after a major surgery this last year, I am trying to get my chops back and do what I love. Whether you're a bass player, drummer, sax player, piano player, or can jam a mean jazz triangle- I'm just looking for good people with a passion for playing jazz and just vibing. Update: I have so far met some really nice people and have been fortunate to find a few good musicians to play with. We would love to find a piano player that loves jazz standards and a few things in between. We are guitar, bass, drums, sax and vocals when we want to add that late night sultry club feeling. We meet once a week, practice for a few hours and have some fun! Please be a decent reader and get around charts well. We are currently working on 12 or so songs and are adding songs all the time.
