At Least 2 Injured In Mobile Church Shooting: Reports

MOBILE, AL— Injuries were reported in a shooting Sunday afternoon inside a Mobile church, according to a news report. Police and emergency personnel responded to Amity Missionary Baptist Church on St. Stephens Road to find two people suffering injuries that were not life-threatening. Police said the church was not in session when the shooting happened but it was celebrating its 100th anniversary Sunday, according to the news report. The shooting remained under investigation and police were still at the scene as of 3 p.m. Sunday.
