Description
Beautiful purebred / pedigreed English Lop from show bloodlines. Very hard to come by in this area. Born last year. Here’s some info about his personality: -He is a very sweet and intelligent bunny, as far as rabbits go (I’ve owned about 7 in my lifetime). He is NOT aggressive (some are) and has never bitten or been territorial around his cage at all. Like all rabbits, he doesn’t love to be carried around but does well on the lap / couch or on the ground. He loves to be petted / brushed. Carrying = high likelihood of being bucked / scratched (again as with all rabbits). -His coat and color are beautiful. He has exceptionally long ears, even for an English L. Would do awesome in competitions / shows. -He is as litter box / potty trained as a rabbit can achieve. He urinates in his box 99% of the time, and mostly poops in there. He does poop a bit around his cage, too. Outside when he has free roam of the house he never pees but occasionally (after a long while out) will loose a few turds here and there. Again, EXCELLENT for a rabbit (some I’ve had couldn’t learn at all). -He is a highly active and intelligent bunny... not a couch potato. He wants to be stimulated, get out, run & explore. We’ve taken him camping and he loves the park. He does explore but he doesn’t bolt & run off so you can let him have free run and just keep an eye on him (I’ve never had him on a leash). He’s had free run of many parks & beaches. BEWARE DOGS tho, they’d tear him to shreds. -The sole reason I’m rehoming him is that he’s loud. He just won’t stop clawing and chewing in his cage, day and night. Another thing he does (breeder said his parents do the same thing) is randomly on some nights he will get into a trance of THUMPING his feet. You’ve never heard anything like it, it sounds like someone is hitting a kiddy pool with a bat. It will wake you up in the middle of the night and also bother neighbors (it’s that loud). NOT appropriate for a small apartment. You will need to either own a full size home with a dedicated bunny room OR have a insulated barn / rabbit hutch outside. He will also obliterate cords (he’s ruining like 5 of my electronics including laptop cord). -English Lops are one of the rarest breeds to track down and expensive. I paid a lot for him. His fee includes a huge dog-kennel size cage that is the only habitat he’s ever been happy and content in. We just had to keep upgrading and upgrading the cage until we got one big enough for a Saint Bernard and then he’s content. The cage and all accessories alone are worth $200+. He is worth $400. I’m asking $300 for him, cage, accessories and many bags of litter etc. I will be extremely picky about who he goes to and will need to discuss your living situation and family members (humans and pets). Not interested in the money, care more about his welfare. Please include name, number & vet reference in email if seriously interested.
