They are also DNA checked to insure that no puppy is born with an inherited disorder that can be checked by DNA testing.    We strive to keep our facility clean and our dogs healthy. If you are coming to pick up a pup please do not have any contact with any other dog since you have bathed and changed clothes. Whether or not you intend to hunt them is completely up to you. They are good retrievers and good temperament for family dogs.  My female adults are 25-30 pounds and males are 30-38. My pups are friendly, affectionate, and active. With reasonable care they will make good family pets as well as great hunting companions. The puppies are kept in my new climate control building and put outside daily to teach them crate training. Crate training means they sleep in a crate and are put outside to play, exercise, and use the bathroom. They are not completely house trained when you get them but they are started. The pups are weaned from their mom at seven weeks and she does not see them any more. They don't need to interact with mom after that time.  They need to interact with people.    They have socialization with several people and are not shy. They eat Science Diet Puppy food.  They have had tails docked and dew and dew claws removed. They are dewormed twice a month and will be up to date on vaccinations at time of pick up or shipping.  They will have their first shot at 6 weeks of age which is Duramune Max 5 that covers Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Adenovirus a Type 2, and Parainfluenza. They will need another at 9, 12, and 15 weeks. I will have the certificate for you to register your pup with BSS, shot record, health guarantee, and a small bag of science diet puppy food for you to take home with your pup.
