Assurance Moving and Storage is hiring! We are looking for individuals to perform packing, loading, and moving services for household goods. We are looking for people who are hardworking, energetic, and reliable. We invite you to join us as we continue to grow. $1000 retention bonus after 3 months Essential Functions and Duties: · Packing household goods such as dishes, lamps, artwork · Wrapping items in pads such as furniture, TV’s · Disassemble and assemble furniture · Perform and document accurate inventory of goods · Carry goods between the residence and the vehicle · Proper loading of trucks · Assist warehouse personnel as needed · Other duties as needed Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: · Willing to travel; local, in state, interstate · Understand English; bilingual in Spanish a plus · Possess basic hand tools · Able to perform simple math · Have a calm and professional demeanor at all times Required Education and Experience: · A High School diploma or equivalent (GED) · Valid driver’s license is advantageous Working Conditions: · Work is performed indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions · Lifting and carrying items of 50 pounds · Frequent squatting, bending, and use of stairs Benefits: · Mover’s with experience pay range is $16.00 to $20.00 per hour · Packer’s and Helper’s with experience pay range is $16.00 to 18.00 per hour · Vacation time starts after 1 year of employment · Uniform (shirts) provided Company Principles: Assurance Moving and Storage believes in providing a safe and healthy workplace for our employees.
