We are offering a full-time position for an experienced construction CREW LEAD. PLEASE CHECK OUT OUR WORK (www.oes.design ). Must be willing and able manage 1 or more crew members. We build: decks, fences, screened-in porches, custom outbuildings, pergolas, outdoor grill counters, concrete countertops, custom fountains, steel retaining walls, landscape edging, steel planters, steel walk gates, automated and manual driveway gates, outdoor staircases, etc. The position requires a high attention to detail. This job, at times, involves heavy physical labor. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively and work with a Project Manager to see job through from start to finish. Pay depending on experience. We pay a competitive hourly wage. After 90 days we pay 100% of employee health insurance. We provide the basic tools required to complete job. We provide an end of job bonus if job is finished on time and on budget. After a trial period we allow after-hours access to our fabrication shop for personal projects. We have quarterly work gatherings to show our appreciation for employees. The majority of our work is within central Austin with some extending West-ward. Must have experience in the following: - professional attitude and appearance - ability to lead a team from start to completion of a job - construction layout - wood/metal fabrication skills - cutting steel with a specialized metal cutting circular saw - cutting steel with a chop saw - welding skills a plus (we can train) - deck building - finish carpentry - porch screening - previous experience with steel retaining walls is a huge plus. - reading and following construction drawings - digging post holes - setting posts in concrete - excavating with hand tools - grading - plant install - gravel install - use of a transit level - repairs of pvc irrigation lines WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR NO CALL/NO SHOWS.
