OBRC is the industry steward of Oregon’s nationally recognized beverage container deposit program. We help keep Oregon beautiful by providing outstanding services to our partner distributors and retailers, and to the public for the recovery, reuse, and recycling of beverage containers. *Class A CDL, All Shifts Available, Home every night. Overtime available. $24.25hr + $1700 incentives. All shifts available - day, swing, or graveyard Shift Differential available Home each evening! POSITION SUMMARY Operate a tractor-trailer on a specific daily route in the Salem Area and service OBRC accounts and BottleDrop locations by handling the pick-up and transport of beverage containers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Adhere to OSHA Safety Standards and OBRC policies Preform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer Safely and courteously operate a vehicle and all equipment, including pallet jacks, lift gates, load locks and more Proper preparation of documents, counts, and product preparation, included marking of bags, building pallets and product grouping Proper loading of trucks, insuring all items are counted and loaded and that load is properly secured in the truck Understanding of product information, company operations, co-mingle procedures, and can communicate with retailers and customers Ability conduct yourself in a professional manner, in both attitude and appearance Other job duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Valid CDL class A license with good driving record Ability to pass DOT drug screen prior to employment in this position General knowledge of air brakes and fifth wheels Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently throughout the day Must not pose a direct safety threat to himself/herself or others BENEFITS Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance plans for Full-Time Employees 401(k) with company matching Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Ready to apply today?
