Do you enjoy working outdoors? Do you like landscaping/property maintenance work? This is the job for you! Benco is hiring for a part time grounds keeper 20 hours per week. Benco currently has twelve separate grounds to maintain in Corvallis. Requirements for the position: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record, a high school diploma or GED or degree. Benco is looking for someone with landscaping experience with knowledge of grounds maintenance, landscaping equipment/tools and some horticulture knowledge. Must be willing to use personal vehicle as needed, with on-the-job mileage reimbursement provided by Benco. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, able to work independently and as a team member, be a quick learner, be able to retain information/skills learned and ability to follow oral and written instructions. The candidate must be able to lift 60lbs or more on a regular basis and be able and willing to work outdoors in all types of weather. Training: The position will require the candidate to be certified for Bloodborne Pathogens/OSHA, Mandatory Reporting Abuse and CPR/FA.
