Our team is looking for an eager, resourceful Shop & Yard Assistant to provide support to our Madison shop and yard operations. Ideal Candidate: • Highly self-motivated individual with a strong sense of integrity • General knowledge of construction equipment and processes • Capable of working independently and professionally in dealings with vendors, clients, and other personnel • Complete delivery of equipment, tools, materials, and supplies to and from job sites and supplier locations • Clean, organize, and inventory shop & yard • Clean, maintain, and inspect all equipment, tools, and supplies for longevity of use • Perform general maintenance of shop yard, and office, including snow plowing • Communicate and work effectively with Superintendents, Project Managers, Field Operation Managers, and all other personnel • Understand and abide by all OSHA, Federal Motor Carrier, and our safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe work environment at all times Requirements: • Must have and maintain a class A Commercial Driver’s License • Must be able to lift 70 pounds • Must be willing to go above and beyond job description to fill needs as they arise • Must maintain a professional appearance, including but not limited to personal attire, demeanor, and in utilizing company-owned vehicles and equipment
