About us We are a local fire damage restoration and reconstruction company in Rochester, NY. We specialize in helping families and property owners rebuild and restore their property after a fire loss. We are seeking an experienced carpenter to join our growing fire damage restoration and construction team. Job duties: • Installation of kitchens, bath, doors, windows, siding, trim work, etc. • Framing and finishing • Follow direction from project manager, job site supervisor, and owner/operator • Read and follow architect plans • Work on ladders 8-40ft • Assist teammates with other job-related tasks as needed, including general labor, demolition, lifting and/or transporting supplies and materials, etc. • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • At least 5 years of professional carpentry experience in residential or commercial construction • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, strong technical skills, and highly attentive to detail • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability. • Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts, if needed. • Hold themselves and their team to high standards. • Able to work independently without direct supervision under the direction of job site supervisor, project manager(s), and owner/operator • Knowledge of state and local construction code and job site safety protocol • Reliable transportation • Trustworthy and professional • Knowledge of and/or experience working with fire, smoke, water, and mold mitigation and build back techniques a plus, but not required.
