Dear All, Our research team from the Interactive Realities Lab at the University of North Carolina – Greensboro is seeking volunteers to take part in a VR experiment. We are investigating the trade-offs between task focus and reaction to alerts. If you decide to participate in this study, you will be asked to perform a pattern searching task, where you will select matching shapes, react to alerts during the search process, and complete questionnaires. Requirements: · Must be 18 years or older. · Must be able to follow instructions in English. Compensation: $15 will be provided for those who complete the experiment. Your participation is voluntary. The payment will be handled via PayPal, a free service. There may be transaction fees associated with this service. Time required: approximately 1 hour. Location: Interactive Realities Lab – Petty Science Bldg., room 212 (UNCG). If you are interested, please, reply to this add and our team will follow up with further information and instructions.
