We are seeking a full-time roofing and siding superintendent to join our team out of our South Elgin office. The Roofing/Siding Superintendent would be responsible for the financial, administrative and client-relations success of the projects to which he or she is assigned. Major objectives include; managing the project to earn the profit anticipated in the bid and completing the project to the satisfaction of the client. The basic qualifications for this position include: • Experience in the supervision and installation of ALL RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL ROOFING SYSTEMS, SIDING AND GUTTERS. • Strong computer skills are required along with strong organizational skills and job tracking abilities. Experience with one or more project management systems. • OSHA 10 certification required. OSHA 30 Certification preferred • We are looking for those with proven leadership and the ability to manage teams with a willingness to “roll-up his/her sleeves” and do what is necessary to get the job done. • Ability to read, understand and interpret construction drawings • Knowledge of roofing and siding products • Attends job site start-ups as appropriate and needed, and assists in the orientation of the crew • Ensures that all actual costs for his projects are coded properly to promote estimate vs. actual analysis, including validating all subcontractor invoices. • Approves vendor invoices and subcontractor requisitions and ensures that the costs are legitimate and charged to proper phases and cost categories. • Monitors the progress of the project against the schedule and works with the crews to take action to mitigate or resolve project overruns. • Schedules, conducts and documents client and subcontractor meetings. • A valid driver's license • Must be team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment; self-motivated, innovative, hardworking individual, who can handle changing priorities and multiple tasks. • Must be able to safely lift and move up to 80lbs • Bilingual a plus (Spanish speaking) Benefits: • Pay based on Experience • Health insurance • Dental insurance • Vision Insurance • 401k • Sick Pay • Vacation Pay • Company Vehicle
