We are looking to rehome our sweet 3 year old female calico cat, Maeve. She has been through a lot recently. Her original owner was placed in a nursing home, so Maeve was sent to an animal shelter in Texas and was eventually transferred to Colorado. We adopted her a month ago, but she is very fearful of our other pets. This fear has caused her to hide out in a room, which she has yet to leave despite any of our attempts to get her out of her shell. Therefore, we are looking to rehome to a family with no other pets. Maeve is a really sweet cat who loves her humans. She’s low energy and loves to snuggle, get pet, and lay on any lap available. She will make an awesome pet to the right family. She is microchipped, spayed, and up-to-date on her shots. She has no medical issues and is a healthy girl. She’s good with our kids, but I would recommend she go to a home with kids 8 or older.
