Technical Services, Inc. (TSI) is actively hiring a Wiring Assembly Technician to join its team. This role will work out of its brand-new building in Ames, IA. In this role, you will build electrical enclosures per instructed methods, maintain a neat working environment, store inventory parts, and learn the workings of products to eventually assist with phone support. Required Skills: • Ability to learn new skills • Ability to follow instructions • Ability to repeatedly cut, strip, and label electrical wires and insert them into correct terminals • Ability to lift 35 lbs from the floor to waist high several times per day • Ability to read electrical schematics • Ability to understand machine control concepts • Ability to communicate clearly on the phone • Ability to learn and diagnose machine control problems over the phone TSI is eager to welcome a new team member.
