Jewitt Lawn Service is looking for experienced individuals dedicated to providing high-quality, customer-focused lawn care services to join our team as Lawn Care Technicians. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong work ethic, valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable transportation to work, and a good attendance record. He or she must have: • Good written and verbal communication skills • Enthusiasm for working outdoors and in various weather conditions • Ability to operate machinery • Ability to meet production goals • Be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds • Pass a drug test and background check. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Drive pick-up truck with a utility trailer attached. Supervise up to a 2 to 3 man crew. Report any incident to the office immediately. Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections at the beginning of each work day and immediately report operating problems or mechanical defects to the office. Complete all driver, vehicle, and equipment maintenance logs. Ensure good mechanical operation of the equipment and vehicle. Ensure safety guidelines are met daily in the field. Maintain compliance with procedures and policies. QUALIFICATIONS Be able to operate zero-turn mowers (and all other equipment) Commitment to being on time. Be detailed oriented. Be motivated, hardworking, and honest. Valid driving license. Ability to handle physical workload. REQUIRMENTS Be 25 years of age or older. Have a clean driving record. Minimum of two years of verifiable driving experience. Pass company pre-employment road test, drug, and alcohol test. Be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. without assistance.
