The Remains is looking for a bass player! We are a Jacksonville-based cover band established in 2012. We play a mix of rock, 80s, & dance. Our fan base is well-established and have about 3000 Facebook followers. There are currently 18 remaining shows scheduled for 2021 and we will soon be scheduling for 2022. Requirements: Backing vocals is a must. In order to keep the stage volume at a minimum, we are completely on in-ear monitors. We'll supply the wireless, you supply your IEM's. Our current bass player does have his amp on stage which is not an issue at all. You will also need your own mic and mic stand. One of our sets is tuned down 1/2 step so you may want to have 2 bases available. Other info: We tend to schedule shows up to a year in advance. Most shows are in the immediate Jacksonville area but we do schedule a few shows in St. Augustine, Fernandina Beach, and Welaka (about an hour and a half away). In 2021, there were 54 shows scheduled. We don't plan on scheduling that heavily for 2022. Due to work schedules, we are going to try to avoid scheduling Friday shows and will probably do 2-3 Saturdays per month. We are a professional band. We are very organized, have professional attitudes, and constantly strive to improve our live show. If you think you would be a good fit, contact us.
