Starting pay rate: $15-17 per hour Benefits of working with us: True 90 Temp-to-hire True forklift operator position (98%+ on lift) Overtime available Weekly Pay $50 Hire bonus (after 80 hours) $100 Referral Bonus Various advancement opportunities Client holds monthly safety giveaways Once converted after 90 days, all permanent employees will gain immediate access to PTO and benefits enrollment Shifts: Multiple Shifts Available Job Description: The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating material handling equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking and counting merchandise. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and may also be required to perform order filler or order checker duties in addition to his or her own. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage locations Stacks and stores merchandise in designated areas using a forklift, clamp, push-pull or other powered equipment Pulls and prepares products for shipment Ensures that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped Performs picking duties in an efficient manner meeting customer service standards Must have Excel knowledge plus general computer knowledge Requirements: At least 1 Year forklift experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs. without restriction Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours Basic inventory and counting skills required Ability and availability to work extended hours including nights, weekends and potentially holidays as needed by the customer For your safety, full COVID-19 procedures in effect daily.
