Mature guitarist and drummer looking to start an atypical cover band

Mature guitarist and drummer with some vocal capabilities are looking to establish a start-up "swamp rock" cover band focusing on classic rock rooted in the blues, country, cajun, zydeco and other "roots" subgenre. (Examples, Creedence/Fogerty, Dr. John, Leon Russell, J. J. Cale, Tony Joe White and the like.) All participants will have an equal say in the selection of material. We are fully vaccinated against COVID. Looking to rehearse 3 to 4 times/month and, as soon as we're ready, play out 1 to 2 times/month. Seeking bass, one or more lead instruments such as guitar and/or keys, and a solid lead vocal.
