Vital Info: Part time employment in Gurnee, Illinois Compensation: $12 /hour Hours: 10-20 hours /week. 8 hours guaranteed. Schedule: Thursday & Friday regular schedule, but days change as required by workload and availability. About the Company: FakeMeats.com is an online store for meatless jerky, meat substitutes, egg replacers, and other specialty vegetarian / vegan items. We are a family owned and operated business located in Gurnee, IL. We ship packages around the world, and every package must be accurate and packed with care. The Job: - Reading orders (varies from 1 item to 100s of items) - Pulling the correct items from inventory - Packing the orders neatly - Prepping packages for UPS/FedEx/USPS - Various inventory tasks - Moving boxes and pallets around the warehouse - Other duties as assigned Applicants Must Be: - able to come to our warehouse as scheduled - responsible & dedicated - extremely organized & detail oriented - able to learn, follow, and improve procedures - able to work efficiently and systematically - able to stand for several hours at a time - available around the holidays (typically not on the actual holiday) ...and must live near Gurnee, IL. Warehouse experience and packing experience is a plus, but not required.
