Full-time position at an apartment complex. Clean common hallways and laundry rooms on a weekly basis. Participate in apartment turnovers, to include painting, installation of LVT and tile flooring, countertops, tub surrounds, etc. Clean and prep apartments for move-ins. Participate in snow removal and salting of property on an "as needed" basis. Grounds upkeep in the summer, to include mowing, weed trimming, raking, pruning trees and shrubs as needed.
When sufficiently trained, duties will expand to include sharing on-call duties with current staff, responding to resident maintenance requests in a timely and effective manner. This will include communicating maintenance repairs and status with Superintendent and office staff.
Applicants should have experience with lawn upkeep, cleaning, painting, light carpentry. Some working knowledge of plumbing and electrical a plus. Needs to be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently. Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Must have valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation and the ability to work a rotating on-call schedule and extended hours as required.
