Job description Hometown Handyman is looking for team members in The Villages! We have immediate openings for people that want to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. Positions Currently Available: Handyman/Maintenance - Looking to hire at least 2 people Shift: Monday - Friday (Hours may vary from week to week) Compensation: (Pay rate is dependent on experience) Looking for someone that has working general maintenance knowledge to join our team in The Villages. (No electrical, plumbing or HVAC required) We have immediate openings and are looking to hire. If you are not serious about working or are not planning on showing up to an interview, please do not waste our time or yours. Job Overview (not limited to this only): · Work with power tools (drill, sander, circular saw, grinder, etc) · Pressure washing · Painting · General Maintenance (Fix or Repair - odd jobs) · Air Tools (sander, sandblast, paint) This is just an overview of some of the things that we do on a daily basis. Knowledge in these areas is preferred but not required as we are willing to train the right people. Qualifications: · A positive attitude and a friendly personality. · A desire to provide above and beyond customer service. · Pre-Employment background screening will be required. Requirements: · Must have a valid driver's license. · Must have transportation. · Must be able to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time. · Must be able to work outside in all types of weather. · Must be able to lift heavy items. · Must have a working knowledge of power tools, ladders, painting equipment, etc. · Must be able to show up to work on time.
