Primary functions of this position include making deliveries and performing general warehouse duties. Making deliveries includes driving one of our delivery trucks along a route prescribed each day within the Greater Houston Area, unloading goods at delivery location, securing payment, completing and delivering paperwork to customers and back to the warehouse. Performing general warehouse duties includes unloading, counting and reporting of incoming raw materials and finished goods, placing raw materials and finished goods into inventory, blending and packaging fluids, retrieving and staging finished goods to prepare for delivery and loading goods on delivery vehicles. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: • Receiving incoming deliveries - safe handling and unloading of goods, accurate counting and reliable reporting of item quantities (boxes, cases, and individual counts), and accurate and timely placement of received goods into inventory. • Efficient and accurate packaging of finished goods - effective interpretation of blending work orders and instructions, efficient execution of blending processes, restocking placement of used feedstock and stocking placement of finished inventory containers, and accurate and timely reporting of results. • Facilitating outgoing deliveries - safe and efficient staging and loading of goods for delivery. • Perform all of the delivery driver duties with integrity, excellence and accuracy. • Must be able to handle cash and checks with integrity from the deliveries that are made. • Maintaining clean and organized tools, fixtures and workspaces. • General start-up and day’s end clean-up and organization duties. • Other duties as assigned. Benefits: • Health • Dental • PTO • Employee discount Requirements: • Must have a minimum 3 year clean driving record. • Minimum of 1 year driving experience • Knowledge of container sizes and ability to calculate packaging quantities • Ability to dispense lbs., ounces, gallons, and fluid ounces of blending components using weight and volumetric measurement equipment. • Ability to manually lift and move fluids containers up to 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver fluids containers up to 150 lbs. • Ability to count and report on incoming and outgoing inventory quantities. • Ability to position inventory on shelves up to 12 ft. high using a safety ladder. • Ability to mix fluids in 275 gallon totes and 55 gallon barrels using mixing rods and hand-held pneumatic drills. • Ability to communicate clearly and logically with co-workers and management. • Ability to remain focused with continuous attention to detail. • This is a non-CDL position. • Must have great time management skills. • High school diploma or GED (required) • 2nd Chance Employer Equal Opportunity Employer.
