Learn how to work with wire to create findings, like ear hooks, clasps, chains & more! You'll learn how to capture beads & create links! In this class you will learn the basics for beading and working with wire through advanced techniques.  We will cover how to crimp or add finishing touches to beaded necklaces, how to wire link beads and fabricate your own findings (like clasps and ear wires, earrings and chains.)  We will also cover how to make rings with wire and to work in a production style to complete projects quickly. As we follow the CDC's recommended guidelines to keep everyone safe, we'll be requiring students, instructors, and members to wear a mask at all times. We’ll also be limiting the number of students per class to maintain a safe distance as well as disinfecting all tools and surfaces before and after classes. And we encourage students to wash their hands before coming in but -most importantly - stay at home if you are feeling sick. At JCW we educate individuals in the art of jewelry making and empower originals (you) under a creative and collaborative workspace where students, designers, and professionals can come together to LEARN, CREATE, and SHARE. We are located in North Miami in a spacious workshop that is easily accessible to Miami-Dade and Broward. Our studio offers jewelry classes which are tailored specially to each student. Classes are taught by trained professionals, our director, Steven Brownlee, resident instructors, and visiting instructors on a rotating basis that cater to all levels and interests.
