Join us at Maple Leaf Park in the Bolton Hill neighborhood for a day of activities, food, music, and the chance to get to know WHC! Women's Housing Coalition's Board of Directors brings you Burgers, Beers, and Hope Fall Friendraiser. This outdoor event is happening at Maple Leaf Park in the city's Bolton Hill neighborhood., located at 200 Laurens Street. The Women's Housing Coalition - a Baltimore-based non-profit organization providing affordable, permanent, service-enriched housing to individuals and families. The work WHC does is important. At any given point in time, we are serving over 130 adults and children, keeping them out of shelters, out of transitional housing, and off the streets. We help bring dignity and stability into our residents' lives, and this event is intended to allow the community to get to know us and to become more familiar with what we do. The event is FREE, but RSVPs are appreciated. Women's Housing Coalition breaks the cycle of homelessness for women and children by providing affordable housing and supportive services that enable women to sustain social and financial independence. Through programs such as intensive case management, job-readiness and financial literacy, The Women's Housing Coalition supports 100 formerly homeless women and 40 children.
