Our small, private (NOT AMAZON) FBA style, full-service warehouse in Clarksville needs general warehouse workers to intake UPS shipments and break down boxes, consolidate and sort products, stow them on the right shelves and then help label and repack them to ship back out. You MUST be able to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally, 40 pounds more consistently... This is a job that definitely includes lifting and stacking boxes so you must be fit and strong enough to handle it. We work hard in a chaotic environment but we also treat our employees WAAAY better than Amazon does. We are an informal, local, family run business. Its an easy going, friendly place to work and we are flexible if you have things you need to take care of that cut into your schedule. That said you must be up front about such things so we can expect them and not be taken by surprise. Have class on Wed and Fridays from 1 to 3? Need to pick up your kids certain days of the week at a certain time? We can work with that if you are a good worker and an even better communicator. Typical shift is 10 AM til 4 or 6 PM, Mon through Fri, occasionally we work Saturdays too if you want some extra hours or need a different day off and would rather work Sat. Starting pay is $12 an hour but prove you are a reliable, good employee who can handle the job requirements and take direction and we will increase that soon.
